Rafał Chojnowski | New paintings

Humour is evident in Rafał Chojnowski’s paintings. This, alone, reveals Artist’s distance towards the surrounding him reality but also, painter’s understanding for the heroes of his visual tales, even if themes are not always easy and often social-issue engaged. “Painted people” or “People made of paint”, as Chojnowski likes calling his creations, are indeed “created” from paint – the medium which, combained with the vibrant colours and dynamic movement of the brush, reveals the psychological and emotional temperature of Chojnowski’s heroes.
