The Poetry of Landscape

Michal Czuba’s paintings are abstractions focusing on nature and the sensations associated with it. The works are richly structured – the surface of the canvas is full of brush marks, which by building up multi-layers become part of the author’s narrative. Colour in his works plays the role of an emotional carrier – processed by memory and sensitivity, it allows to reflect the mood of the moment, light and temperature.
